I went into the Mojave expecting nothing but dry land and silence. The desert has a way of humbling you. Endless dirt, scrub, and sky that stretches without promise. But that evening, as the sun sank low, the sky told a different story.
Clouds burned orange and violet, streaking the horizon with fire. And there it was, a strange formation hanging above the fading light, shaped like no cloud I’d seen before. For a moment, it looked like a saucer drifting across the heavens. Taken by Trenten Kelley.
